A member of the NPP's Communication Team claims it is now evidentially clear that the declaration of John Dramani Mahama as President by Chairman for the Electoral Commission (EC), Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, was flawed.
Richard Asante Yeboah maintains it is pathetic that the EC boss, after so many years of superintending over elections in the country, could be confused about over-voting, saying his lack of understanding of certain electoral rules and regulation, lead to some Presiding Officers committing grave errors.
Speaking on Okay fm he said for the first time in the history of elections in Ghana, the figures in the register given to the various political parties were completely different from those in the EC's gazette; adding that the figures Dr. Afari Gyan bandied recently in court was different from those sworn in the affidavits of the EC before the Supreme Court.
According to him, the inconsistencies exhibited by the EC Chairman, shows clearly his inability to figure out the mistakes his out committed which has subsequently resulted in the country having an error President. He was hopeful that sooner than later President Mahama will step down for the rightful person to take over the reins of leadership.
'I can confidently say with all the energy at my disposal that after the court case John Mahama will not remain the President in this country. I can boldly say with all the strength in me that John Mahama will not be the President of this country regardless of any tactics anybody wants to deploy to change the verdict', the NPP communicator declared.
