At an exclusive event dubbed The Gathering of Champions and held at the Eko Hotel & Suites in honour of the channel partners, the Telco Operator showered encomiums on its business partners, also urging them to continue in the path of high business returns and increased market performance.
Speaking, Wednesday (June 13th) at the occasion, the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya, said the company is very proud of its Trade Partners and values the current relationship it has with them, saying Airtel is committed to ensuring the profitability of its business partners.
'At Airtel, our core strategy thrives on partnership. So, it is a matter of necessity for us to celebrate our Channel Partners in style and also reward them with the very best of gifts and prizes. He also charged the Channel Partners to devise new result-oriented approaches to the business that would lead to increased returns on their businesses.
While extolling the Partners' effort on scaling up their performances when compared to the previous year, he encouraged them to deepen their distribution network especially to the underserved markets across the country.
Speaking further, the CEO said the alliance between Airtel and its Channel Partners is rooted in shared interest to become the most loved brand in the daily lives of Nigerians and shared values that include people's empowerment and innovativeness.
The one day conference which attracted over 150 Channel Partners drawn from across the country kicked off with a strategic session in the morning and rounded off with a gala night.
Gifts presented to Airtel Channel Partners included brand new Special Utility Vehicles (SUVs), utility vans, computers, generators and motor bikes among others.
At the Gala Night, the partners were treated to special performances by popular crooner, Wande Cole, while the House of Dance troupe added flavour to the evening with rhythms to the delight of guests.
