Ivory Coast arrived in Ghana on Sunday to play the local Black Stars in a two-legged friendly this week.

The exhibition matches have been arranged to prepare both teams for their upcoming 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

Local Elephants will face Nigeria while Ghana's home-based national team engage Benin. The first leg match will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Wednesday and the return encounter will come off in Obuasi two days later.

Two match officials from neighbouring Togo are also scheduled to arrive in Ghana for the games.

Ghana coach Dauda Lutterodt is expecting his players to report to camp on Monday after joining their clubs for the weekend's Ghana Premier League penultimate round of matches.
