Kade(E/R), Dec. 31, GNA- The Kwaebibirem District Assembly is undertaking a number of projects being financed through HIPC fund the GETFund a total cost of 3.7 billion cedis.
Three of the HIPC and one of the GET Fund projects have been completed while the rest are near completion.
Speaking at the Third Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly for the year, the District Chief Executive, Mr Yiadom-Boakye mentioned a three-unit classroom blocks and ancillary facilities each for the Bamenase L/A JSS and Akwatia AME Zion Primary School as some of the projects to be completed and a 20-seater water closet (WC) public place of convenience at Kade.
The completed GETFund project is the six-classroom block including a WC place of convenience at the Akim Apinamang L/A Primary School. Mr Yiadom Boakye said the HIPC projects are a three-unit classroom blocks and ancillary facilities at Abompe and Kade a 20-seater WC toilet at Akyem Wenchi.
