Kasoa, C/R) Dec. 30, GNA - The Parent Teacher Association of the Ngleshie Amanfro Senior Secondary School has elected Mr Joseph Ashon-Cudjiw, a Journalist as its chairman, following his election at an annual general meeting held at Amanfro near Kasoa.
The Reverend G. Antwi Duah, former Chairman of the Association secured the vice-chairmanship.
The school authorities re-electec Mr. Moses Parbi, tutor, Secretary for the second time running.
Others are Mr Godfried Afronorpe, (ed. Correct) Financial Secretary, Madam Magaret Matti (ed. Correct), Treasurer. Mr Frank Meddley, Mr Samuel Amanor and Madam Mary Ekenlebie (ed. Correct) were elected executive members.
In a brief speech, Mr Ashon-Cudjiw thanked PTA for the honour done him, saying that they should contribute generously towards the provision of infrastructure needed for the development of the school. Mr A. L. Lawson, Headmaster of the School, called for co-operation between the officers and the PTA for smooth running of both the association and the school.
He said the school would also give them the needed support to pursue programmes that will uplift educational standards.
