Guwahati, May 26 : Security forces apprehended two militants of Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam (MULTA) in Assam's Darrang district on Sunday, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of police and army had launched operation at Rowmari area in the central Assam district and nabbed the militants.
Security forces recovered a 303 rifle, one pistol and three rounds ammunition in possession of them.
The apprehended militants were identified as Abdul Hussain and Abdul Khalak.
A top police source said that, the militants had brought these arms to sell the animal poachers.
