Sunyani, May 21, GNA - The Brong-Ahafo Regional Educational Directorate would hold its Regional Education Sector Annual Review (RESAR) meeting on Thursday to evaluate the state of education in the basic and second cycle levels in the Region.
It would provide a forum for stakeholders to review the regional performance, using participatory approach to assess progress made towards achieving the set targets in Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2010-2020.
Mr Joseph Agyemang, Brong-Ahafo Regional Education Planning Officer told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani on Monday that Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in educational development, including Action Aid Ghana, Plan Ghana and Page Ghana would make presentations.
Retired Directors of Education in the Region would share their experiences with participants to ensure a better and quality education in the Region.
Thematic areas for discussion would include Basic Education, Senior High School Education, Technical and Vocational Education, Educational Management and Special Education.
