Accra To Host 4th WATHA Awards
The fourth (4th)West Africa Tourism and Hospitality Awards (WATHA) are due to be held in Ghana's capital of Accra this year. The awards ceremony which is scheduled for the 28th and 29th of November 2013 is to celebrate tourism excellence in the West African sub region.
In an exclusive interview with Touristswatch.com, the President of the West Africa Tourism and Hospitality Awards (WATHA), Mr. Adedayo Adesugba said that, the award ceremony which was introduced in 2010, seeks to reward and celebrate industry players who have contributed immensely to the development of the tourism industry in the West African sub region.
He added that, this year's event is aiming to reach out to eight member states, whose hospitality and tourism institutions will be part of the award ceremony.
Mr. Adesugba stressed that, another novelty to this year's event will be the exhibition and a seminar which will be organized for stakeholders.
