Ghana grow stronger in Germany

A confident gaze into the futureyes the African Diaspora is up to the task of developing Africa!

'Ghana is still barren for investors,' says Germany's Ambassador to Ghana Eberhard Schanze, who urges German and European companies to invest in the economy 'early before all seats are taken.'

'By diversifying the economy, we create more jobs, reduce poverty and develop the economy,' says Ghana's Ambassador to Germany, Paul King Aryene. For him oil or gas are not trendy enough to champion development and create employment, he emphasizes on the empowerment of the secondary sector and he is confident that the African Diaspora is that instrument of diversification.

4. International African Festival Tübingen 2013 celebrates Ghana!

Yes, it is the largest and fastest growing authentic African festival in Germany, bringing together Africans worldwide, irrespective of their country of origin, religious background and gender. The International African Festival 2012 supported the Methodist orphanage home in Ghana with a brand new multidimensional photocopy machine (600euros) which was the dying need of this home.

The donation was handed to Pastor Frederick Gyamfi Mensah of the Ghana Methodist church in Frankfurt -Stuttgart, Germany who officiated at the Festival church service together with Dr. Rev. Nikischen of Albert-Schweitzer church in Tübingen

Each year, the International African Festival Tübingen, orientates his visitors, by focusing on one country. Ghana was focus country 2012 but due to the sudden death of Ghana´s formal President - Dr. Mills who passed away exactly 3wks to the festival, Ghana was then postponed to 2013

The ambassador of the selected country automatically assumes the role of Chairmanship of the festival; H.E Paul King Aryene has taken this role with pride! He will officially deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the Business and social Forum organized in collaboration with the chamber of commerce and industry in Tübingen - focused on investing in Ghana which takes place on Thursday, 08.August 2013

His Excellency assume his role by the official opening ceremony which shall take place on Saturday the 10th of August together with other dignitaries and officials of Tubingen and Baden-Württemberg including other African ambassadors in Germany.

All Ghanaians in Germany and abroad are expected to attend this great event, which intends to expose the potentials and enormous opportunity that Ghana has to offer

This events shall also be backed up by guest stars directly from Ghana - Azonto as well traditional dance group -Adowa and also Ghana kitchen with specialties like red-red shall be available and products made in Ghana - Krobo beads, Bogolas, basket made in Ghana as well as Shea butter.it's almost as if Tübingen Africa Festival is GhanaianSusan Tatah - Founder & CEO smiling, says Ghana is the gateway and active change we´re embracing in Africa today

The International African Festival Tübingen is powered by AFRIKAKTIV, a non-profit association that has the first Africa Magazine in Baden-Württemberg since this year, called AFRIKAKTIV. The aims and objectives of this Magazine is to advertise African businesses and events in Germany, it's all about African lifeclass and culturewe shall not discuss POLITICS! But report on the activities of the African Diaspora in Germany. It has 20.000 copies, articles shall appear in English, German and French and shall be distributed free of charge. It´s a non-profit Magazine that shall generate revenue from advertisement to cover production costour culture is not a product that shall be sold to foreigners only!

Launching of the Magazine shall take on the 14th of June - Kulturhaus -Wangen, Ulmerstr. 241, 70327 in Stuttgart from 8 - 10pm. Invitations are being printed out now!
