
Cabinet has approved the National Export Strategy to diversify export and increase the export base of the Non-Traditional Exports.
This was disclosed by the Trade and Industry Minister, Haruna Idrissu at the First Quarter Review workshop for officials of his ministry and agencies at Koforidua.
The strategy is expected to increase NTE's by thirty-five percent and the current export revenue from 1.5 billion dollars to 5 billion dollars in the next five years.
The strategy is to be implemented by the National Export Development Programme under the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.
