Guwahati, May 15 : Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh does not have any cash in hand, as he owns only a 1996 made Maruti 800 car.
It was revealed by Dr Singh in his affidavit filing with nomination paper for Rajya Sabha poll in Guwahati on Wednesday.
The affidavit showed that, his movable assets worth of Rs 3,87,63,188 and immovable assets worth of Rs 7,52,50,000.
Dr Singh declared that, he owned a Maruti 800 car, which present value is Rs 21,033.
He had eight fixed deposit accounts and four savings accounts in SBI branch of Central Secretariate, New delhi.
The total income of Prime Minister showed as Rs 40,51,964 in the year 2011-2012.
In the immovable assets, he owned two residential building at Chandigarh, Sector-11 B, Plot No. P-1, which approximate current market value of Rs 4,92,50,000 and at Vasant Kunj area in New Delhi as approximate current market value of Rs 2,60,00,000.
In 2007, Prime Minister declared his total assets worth of Rs 4,30,61,174.
Dr Singh had filed his nomination paper to the returning officer of Assam Legislative Assembly for the Rajya Sabha poll, which will be held on May 30.
Dr Singh's fourth term in upper house will end on June 14.
He have been representing to Assam in the upper house since 1991.
