Letter An Open Letter To The President Of Ghana
MAY 9, 2013 LISTEN

Mr president,
Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah led our beloved country to independence, and lit the torch for independence throughout Africa. He was an indefatigable leader and made Ghana great and proud among the comity of nations. Other African leaders, including Nelson Mandela, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Mugabe, Sekou Toure, Modibo Keita, Jomo Kenyatta, Tafawa Balewa, Julius Nyerere and many others came to Ghana to learn from our illustrious leader. Today, the situation is different and it looks like our great country is falling apart. Our international image is severely dented and even our neighboring countries take us for granted. Chris Brown came to Ghana to smoke pot in public and got away with it, while our police looked on. Many Nigerians think we are stupid and they come to Ghana to do all kinds of things and get away with them and it is time to stop this.

Our policemen need to wake up to their responsibilities and deal with law-breakers, whether they are local or international, whether they are high or low and whether they are " prophets," "apostles," " bishops," or whatever. We already have many false prophets, apostles and bishops in Ghana and we don't need anymore, least of all, from Nigeria. I am incensed by the news report that some " macho men " of the fake Nigerian prophet, T B Joshua, arrested and detained some Ghanaian journalists, and, to say the least, this is regrettable and reprehensible and this dastardly act must be investigated and the perpetrators brought to book. No one has the right to arrest and detain any Ghanaian citizen apart from the police and this despicable act is a slap in the face of all Ghanaians.

I urge you to cause an investigation and prosecution of this case with immediate effect. This notorious Nigerian false prophet already deceived your predecessor, John Atta Mills, and you must not allow him and his cronies to take our country for granted. If you must know, T B Joshua came to Ghana to deceive 22 million Ghanaians with fake miracles involving 20 Ghanaians who are now dead, with the connivance of his cronies and it is time Ghanaians wake up from their slumber and not be taken for granted as a nation of fools.

I expect that you would use your position as president to make Ghana great and strong and put your name in the annals of history as one of the illustrious sons of Ghana and Africa, by ensuring the rule of law and respect for our laws in Ghana.
