UT Life Insurance Rewards Hardworking Sales Executives

UT Life Insurance Limited, a member of the UT Group has rewarded eight of its outstanding and hardworking sales executives whose excellent performance in last year 2012 saw the company rake in an over 100% profit.

The awards included three Best Sales Executives, three Best Bancassurance Advisors, Best Link Officer and the Best Sales Manager.

The awards ceremony was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi over the weekend as part of its first Annual Sales Executive Conference under the theme 'innovation and personal branding: your key to career development'.

The two-day programme brought together the top 20 sales executives of the company who were how to outsell the competition.

The Managing Director of UT Life Insurance Company, Mr. Tiibu Aziz Rayamah commended the entire Executive team for their excellent performance in the year under review which made company the fastest growing company in the UT Group and one of the best in the Life Insurance industry in Ghana.

He said the company is just taken off and management will continue to train and provide the needed resources to enable them to continue to deliver.

He advised them not to be complacent with their performance but strive harder to make life insurance an important part of the economy.

The Chief Executive Officer of Legacy and Legacy, Mr. Albert Ocran and a renowned International Motivational speaker speaking on the topic 'outselling the competition' said as sales people it is important to look beyond facts and problems and see and seize opportunities to innovate and excel.

He advised the participants not to settle for average but go the extra mile by redefining their career, be diligent with a positive attitude and think outside the box to deliver excellence. 'Ask yourself what changes will I make to make me a better person-refuse to be discouraged just offer solutions and add value and will be the best in what you do' he added.

An investment consultant and a director of UT Life Insurance, Mr. Reginald France admitted that the company had undergone a lot of transformation from CDH Life to Golden Life and now UT Life Insurance 'and these came with challenges that you stood up to, to bring the company to its enviable position as one of the respected life insurance companies in Ghana today'.

He reminded them to be complacent knowing that 'what got you here cannot take you there, and the next level requires more sacrifices and selfless dedication'.

Also present at the events were Mr. Justice Kusi-Minka Premo, a legal practitioner and director of the company, Mr. Sheriff Abudu- General Manager, Business Development, Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe-General Manager Operations and Mrs Safoa Awuku-Asabreh, Head of Human Resource all from UT Life Insurance Company.

Instructively, UT Life Insurance Ltd is a member of the UT Group. It was incorporated in 2005, as CDH Life but became UT Life in 2010 when UT Holdings acquired majority shares in the company which operates under the Insurance Law Act 724 of 2006. The provides various Life insurance products including Education Plan, Funeral Plan, Keyman Policy, Mortgage in Loan Cover as well as Bancassurance among others.  Its vision is to be 'Ghana's Innovative and Affordable Life Insurer'.

UT Life was recently voted the Most Promising Life Insurance Company in the Reinsurance Cedant Awards.
