The LORD Is With You

The LORD Is With You
No matter what challenges you are facing in life, you can approach each day with boldness and confidence that all will be well in the end. On what do you stand to be bold and confident? In Joshua 1:9 the word of God says, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

We all have challenges. The only thing is that the challenges differ from one person to the other.

When we talk about challenges, the following readily come to mind: poverty, ill health, unemployment, debt, lack of education, homelessness, divorce, obesity and death of a loved one to mention but a few. You will not have the peace you need when you are confronted by one or more of the aforementioned problems.

The way you handle your problems is important. A negative attitude towards your problems will almost always make things worse. Some people become judgmental when they face numerous problems and this can cause them to choose the wrong road when looking for a solution. They may end up spending their hard earned cash on speechless gods and shrines.

Your problem cannot be bigger than the God who created you. God is your solution. He is closer to you than the air you breathe. God says we should never be afraid nor be dismayed because he is with us wherever we go.

We can hope and act confidently in any situation by having faith in the “can do all God.” Put your trust in God even if the circumstances dictate otherwise. Open your heart to God. Believe in him. He has the solution to all your problems.

When you acknowledge God and you humble yourself before him, you will become a winner every time because he will guide you and grant you the grace and the wisdom to overcome the challenges that confront you.

You can take inspiration from the stories of Joseph and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the Bible. Joseph experienced numerous challenges including being sold into slavery, a false charge of attempted rape and imprisonment among others. The Spirit of the LORD was with him. In the end Joseph became a winner; he prospered in life and was used as a blessing to many people including his wicked brothers.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to worship the handmade god of King Nebuchadnezzar. On the orders of the king, they were thrown into a fiery furnace to die, but God delivered them unharmed.

The king observed, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside the King's command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God.”(Daniel 3:28).

The above stories should encourage us to face our challenges with faith and courage. We should put our absolute trust in God and act with boldness and confidence in every situation. With God you can lead a victorious life. You can crack the code to every problem and get it solved. Listen to God. He is always with you wherever you go.
