The official organizers of Miss ECOWAS Ghana peace pageant, 702 Productions Limited with her reigning queen, Ms. Keshia Ferguson, has donated items worth Gh¢5,000 to the 'Save Them Young Orphanage' a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) as part of their valentine's day celebration.

The main aim of the visit was ultimately to put smiles on the faces of these young ones numbering about seventy-five through donations and mingling with them as a show of love on this Special day.

Ms Flossy Menson, the Vice President of 702 Productions, in an interview expressed much delight in the donation adding that children needed to be shown love and care and that the donations made to them portray such love.

She added, we at 702 Productions, working with the youth of Ghana and the ECOWAS Sub-region believe strongly that the responsibility to show love and care to the vulnerable in society in Ghana is a collective one involving you and us

According to her, the priority of the production is to build a bath room, toilet facility and urinal costing about Ghc 4000.00 for the children in order to make it more convenient for them to discharge waste products.

On her part, the ECOWAS Ghana Peace Ambassador 2012, Miss Keshia Ferguson, beaming with smiles said “it is great joy for me today to share my day with the kids at the orphanage. I believe in order for us to have a peaceful nation, it's our collective responsibility to show immense love for our orphans, it's the only way we can contribute our quota for a better tomorrow.

Rev. Dr. Colleen Opoku Amuaben the founder of the 'Save Them Young Orphanage Home' stressed the challenges confronting the organization. She said that in situations like this, the children are exposed to hazards such motor accident which she described as problematic. She stated that though, people come to their aid to donate to them yet, the organization lacks shelter and food.

Rev. Dr. Amuaben used the opportunity to call on all benevolent organizations, philanthropists and the government to come and support the orphans' welfare noting well that it is biblically good to show love to the poor and the needy so as to attract the blessing of the Almighty God.

She thanked 702 productions for their donation and asked God to elevate the production to greater height so that they would do more for them.
