The draw has been made for the semi finals of hockey's Investec Women's Cup.
The two sides met in the competition back in 2008 where Bowdon Hightown ran out 6-2 winners en route to lifting the silverware, but this will be the first time that Buckingham hosts the Cheshire club. Eight time winners of the Cup Bowdon Hightown face a tricky away tie against high flying Buckingham whose 100% record at the top of the Investec Women's Conference West will ensure the northerners take no chances against their lower league opponents. Buckingham will be looking to cause an upset and reach the final for the first time.
There is little to choose between the two sides with Clifton currently sixth and Sutton Coldfield seventh in the Investec Women's Premier Division. For their part, Clifton will hope to secure their first appearance in a cup final since 2005, when they lost to Leicester. They have drawn both of their league encounters this season.
The Investec Women's Cup semi finals will take place on Sunday 24 March with the final taking place at Beeston Hockey Club in Nottingham on Saturday 27 April.
