BERLIN, Germany, February 20, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Following the resignation of Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle issued the following statement this morning (20 February) in Berlin on the situation in Tunisia:
“At this critical time for Tunisia's democratic development, we are observing the situation very carefully. I would like to pay tribute to the endeavours of many political players in Tunisia to make a constructive contribution to successfully concluding the democratic process of transition at this decisive juncture.
I voice my respect here for the now former Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali.
I call upon all political forces to reach out to one another now in the spirit of dialogue and to heal the rifts currently dividing the country.”
