Kumasi, Feb 19, GNA - Mr. Bright Osei Agyemang, President of the Association of Christian Men's Fellowship, has rallied members to lead the fight against injustices and corruption in the society.

He said as heads of their families, they should do everything to help set clear boundaries of socially acceptable behaviour.

Addressing a meeting of the association in Kumasi, Mr Osei Agyemang said the way to do this was to make sure that they become good examples not only to their children but also to other people in their communities.

Mr Osei Agyemang expressed worry about the growing greed, selfishness and dishonesty and said these must be tackled head-on to restore some level of sanity to the society.

Examples, he said, abound in the Bible where true men of God stood up against the social evils and wrongs of their time.

He reminded them to work with passion to grow the Christian ministry and turn people away from their bad ways.

Mr Osei Agyemang said it was important to have a strong partnership between the church and the state to uplift the lives of the people.

The meeting was called to discuss ways of strengthening the contribution of the association towards the promotion of social harmony.

The Reverend Moses Opoku-Agyemang, Minister in-charge of the Patasi Presbyterian Church, appealed to the Association to work hard to sustain the harmonious relationship, mutual respect and understanding among followers of the various religious faiths.
