NPP European Chapters executives on the 2nd and 3rd February 2013 launched their Solidarity Rally in all European Cities starting with STRASBOURG CHAPTER (FRANCE), the European Parliament city, Council of Europe and also the seat of the European Court of Human Rights. There will be more Solidarity Rallies every week-end till March in other European cities.
During this well organized heavy Solidarity Rally in STRASBOURG, in a form of educational forum, lectures were given on the importance of Democracy and Democratic values, Strong Democratic Institutions, the Constitution of GHANA, our confidence in our Judiciary System, the respect of the rule of law and measures to hold in high esteem GHANA's status as a beacon of Democracy in AFRICA.. At the city of the European Court of Human Rights, Ghanaians from different background, all religious affiliations and also Europeans attended in masses for this high profile Rally or Lectures by Human Rights Specialists .
As Ghanaians we have a collective responsibility to guard our motto 'Freedom and Justice”. Also to have the strength and conviction to stand up against “Oppressor's Rule” and “Bold To Defend Forever; The cause of Freedom and of Right. It is our inalienable right to seek for “truth when in doubt.
We must develop a mentality to cherish fearless honesty. Demand probity, transparency and accountability from state Institutions charged with responsibilities to the People and above all those in governance.
We should raise our “banner high” all citizens of Ghana wherever you maybe.
We must pat ourselves for allowing maturity and love of country to prevail over greed, by not allowing those desperate and inclined to mischief, having connived with some unpatriotic characters to subvert the will of the people to say we said so. Never to be bullied into silence
The members of NPP STRASBOURG Chapter and all GHANAIANS, EUROPEANS gathered here today, wish to affirm our unflinching support for the on-going court challenge that seeks to overturn the declaration of the 2012 presidential election results.
We call for the continuous support of all NPP supporters, civil society groups and all people who truly believe in the democratic quest of Ghana as the major step to economic development.
My fellow Ghanaians, this petition sent to the Supreme Court is not only contest to restore the true verdict of the 2012 election but to serve as catalyst to enact a process to combat the wrongs that seek to prevent us to chart the path of 'the Development in Freedom, Justice and Accountability.
Ghanaians expect nothing but the truth from the Nine Eminent Judges of the Supreme Court who will adjudicate over the petition. The future survival of this great country of ours depends on their arriving at a fair decision which will be acceptable to all including the international community. We therefore pray that in arriving at such a decision, the Judges will be guided by the principle of fairness, transparency and the Fear of God.
Gold is written on the front doors of Ghana but poverty is on the inside corridors for our people.
Long live Ghana and Long live NPP.

excellent work done by NPP Chapter in Strasbourg,FRANCE, Hoping to read more about the other Human Rights forums organised by NPP executives in Abroad. It will be also interesting to have such human rights forums in all towns in GHANA to educate our fellow Ghanaians, concerning the rule of law and Democratic vaues. The truth must prevail in this court case. God bless our homeland GHANA.
