Can I Share A Little Secret With You This Today?

10 years ago I made a decision never to limit myself to the opinions of others because they can, in most cases be based on the following:

1. Ignorance (eg all Africans are poor. Really? or only the rich can ever become rich or even richer)

2. Their own failures in life (eg It didn't work for me so it can't work for you)

3. Envy (eg It didn't work for me so why should it work for you?)

5. Fear (I don't want you to venture into this new business what if it fails - Then you ask them, what if it succeeds?)

You should only take on opinions that are based on the following:

Good intentions and good will based on:
1. High level of experience
2. High level of expertise
3. High level of influence in their area of expertise

Keep your mind open! Don't close it due to ignorance, fear, envy, or your past failures.

I have been told many times by the people closest to me and otherwise:

"It will never work" - Guess what, it did!
"Whose going to invest in your business. What makes you so special" - I guess they are still wondering now because the investments came through.

"I just can't see it working" - You can't! That's your problem and not mine.

"I never told you to put all your money in the business, look at us now" - But look at you now, you can't stop spending the money from the business.

You see, their intentions may be right but if their mind is closed, it's dangerous for you.

This is why most times, you need time to go it alone. Not everyone needs to know you are pregnant with a vision.

Open your mind to possibilities because anything and everything is actually possible, you just don't know it yet or most importantly, how to?

Open your mind to facts and figures justified by the past, present and the future.

Don't you think it's time we throw superstitious beliefs out the door.

NO YOU ARE NOT CURSED BECAUSE OF YOUR FATHER'S SINS!

NO YOU ARE NOT UNDER A SPELL
NO YOU ARE NOT DUMB
NO YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE OR BORN TO BE ONE
AND HELL NO! AFRICANS ARE NOT POOR OR DUMB, WE JUST HAVE CORRUPT LEADERS.

EVERYONE IS BORN UNIQUE AND BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING. IT'S WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND DO AS A RESULT THAT DEFINES WHO YOU ARE AND NOT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

SO YOU KEEP FAILING, WHY DON'T YOU TRY FAILING FORWARD.

It took Thomas Edison failing over 1,000 times to get the light bulb right. He failed failure.

At the time some would have called him cursed due to ignorance but today we call him a genius and a complete success.

Who cares about what they call you now, what matters most is what would they call you tomorrow and that is totally defined by what you believe and do today.

TAKE ACTION! A MIND ONCE OPEN CAN NEVER BE CLOSED!
