Elections And Persons Living With Disabilities

We indeed have to talk about peaceful elections but still one may ask if we have taken a critical look at the implications of peace or the lack of it when it comes to our brothers and sisters living with disabilities. If there is war where will they find themselves and how can they flee if it comes to that.

It is a thought that always gets me worried but I pray for God's mercy on the nation because of people living with disabilities.

I would therefore like to use this platform to plead with Ghanaians in the name of Jehovah, that for the sake of our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters who are living with disabilities we should all please stay away from violent acts or inciting violence and make sure that we maintain peace during and after the elections.

Moreover I am once again appealing to all of us that when we see our brothers and sisters living with disabilities at the voting ground we should not maltreat them but rather give them the opportunity to exercise their franchise before us. This is good behavior and will ensure that all is well with us. Long live Ghana.
