Rebuild Nigeria Initiative Press Release
Re-2015: Jonathan Opens 'Secret' Campaign Office
The attention of Rebuild Nigeria Initiative (RNI) has been drawn to an online newspaper report saying that the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has opened a secret Campaign office in Abuja, in preparation for his 2015 Presidential ambition; alleging that the RNI National Secretariat is being used for same.

The report is not only inaccurate, but misleading. To put the records straight, we are compelled to respond.

While the Rebuild Nigeria Initiative believes in and supports the present administration of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, it is erroneous to report that our National Head office is now his 2015 secret Campaign office.

The building displayed on the report as being the newly established President Jonathan's secret campaign office is the National Headquarters of the Rebuild Nigeria Initiative that has existed for over three years now. For the benefit of unsuspecting Nigerians, the office is at no. 17 S.O. Williams Crescent, off Anthony Enahoro street, Utako, Abuja.

It is not a secret campaign office for the President's 2015 Campaigns. It has always been there and it is open to everybody.

Again, since the office is the National Headquarters of Rebuild Nigeria Initiative, Habu Fari cannot be the head of the place, as reported. For the avoidance of doubts, the National Coordinator of Rebuild Nigeria Initiative is Chief Hope Rex Lawson.

The Rebuild Nigeria Initiative is a non-governmental, Political Advocacy Platform for all Patriotic Nigerians, set up to encourage masses' participation in good governance.

Rebuild Nigeria Initiative is geared towards rebuilding Nigeria through political and religious advocacy, enlightenment campaigns, mediations and other intervention measures on the above mentioned areas of challenges on National Development.

At Rebuild Nigeria, our passion is to return Nigeria to its glorious path, in line with the vision of our Founding Fathers.

Part of the objectives of Rebuild Nigeria Initiative is to assist Nigeria to realize its vision 20:2020, in line with the transformation Agenda of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

We are working tirelessly to set a new people-oriented agenda for national economic, social and political transformation of Nigeria.

The Initiative is interested in bridging the existing political gap in the Country and preparing Nigerian youths for the challenges and opportunities of the age.

Rebuild Nigeria Initiative is also interested in facilitating the creation of a platform for regular national dialogue and debate; even as it has laid a foundation for the championing and actualization of diaspora voting agenda; where Nigerians in all parts of the world will be allowed to exercise their civic right to participating in selecting their leaders, from the Wards (grassroots) to Presidency.
