Bawumiah is Neither a Thief nor a Murderer.
Restore Hope Watchdog (a Political Focus Group) strongly believes that the report put out by the NDC's 'Setting the Record Straight Team' is full of lies and contortions of gargantuan magnitude.

Our assertion is based on the following:
a. Why did the NDC team wait till 16 days to Parliamentary and Presidential Elections to release these so called incriminating 'evidence' against Dr. Bawumia?

b. If what was revealed in the book titled "Lest We Forget! – NPP The Looting Brigade” by National Democratic Congress (NDC) group, Forum for Setting the Records Straight" is true, why have you as a government not prosecuted Dr. Bawumia in your four years of political power?

c. Books on criminal cases are normally written after the cases have been disposed of in a court of law. Why have you put the cart before the horse?

d. Why haven't you charged the Vault Manager of the Bank of Ghana with causing financial loss to the State when he failed to report the matter to the Ghana Police?

e. NDC operatives spearheaded the forcible eviction of President Kuffour from the building he started using as his office when his term was over. President Kuffour willfully gave back the house.

NDC Deputy Ministers and other leaders took Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey to court for illegally using his office to acquire a Ghana government property.

The Supreme Court found Jake not guilty as charged.

f. And to cap it all, a whole Deputy Minister of the Interior, Mr. Kobby Acheampong, to whom we as a nation have entrusted our security, had the effrontery to look Ghanaians in the face and be a part of the launching of a book packed with lies.

The composition of the NDC Team is also suspect.
Deputy Minister of Interior Mr. Kobby Acheampong(Kookoase Kurasefoo), Deputy Minister of Finance Fiifi Kwetey(confessed he lied about Bank of Ghana gold), Deputy Minister of Local Government & Rural Development Elvis Afriyie Ankrah(East Legon homes), and Head of Policy Monitoring & Evaluation, Dr. Tony Aidoo(Presidential Ford Explorer case, and foul-mouthed).

The NDC has a record of seizures, forcible acquisitions, outrageous fines, and gargantuan court fines.

This time around, "we no go sit down make them cheat us".

And concerning the alleged murders, the least said about them, the better.

As has always been said, Ghanaians are discerning.

Discerning Ghanaians will certainly not vote for a party that cannot guarantee the security of the nation.
