The President of the National Prophetic and Apostolic Churches Council of Ghana, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako says they are already aware of the winner of the this year's presidential elections even before they are conducted on December 7th.

The General Overseer of Alive Chapel International claimed the group had written to inform the supposed winner of the December polls.

He said the group had decided not to go public on the issue due to security issues.

Bishop Salifu Amoako chided fellow ministers of the Gospel whom he alleged, had gone about mentioning the name of the supposed winner of yet-to-conducted elections, warning them not to create confusion in the country.

Bishop Salifu Amoako was speaking to Adom News after a press conference to announce the church's “7 days all believers' prayer and fasting programme” for peace, during and after the elections.

This year's prayer programme, dubbed “Back to the Bible” will come off between 23rd to 30th September, 2012, will see international renowned ministers of the gospel assemble in the country to pray for peaceful elections.

The Bishop asked politicians to be ready to accept impartial suggestions and counsel from the clergy whom he said represent the embodiment of peace in the country.

He appealed to the Electoral Commission to ensure free and fair elections by doing what they are best noted for, over the past years.
