Three hundred youth from Greater-Accra and the Ashanti Region have graduated from the Tigo Sales School.

The 300 graduates passed out in two separate ceremonies held in the respective regions, eight weeks of intensive sales skills training.

General Manager of Tigo Ghana, Adil El Youssefi said at the Accra graduation, “our aim in rolling out Tigo Sales School is to create a highly trained and effective sales force that will give Tigo a competitive advantage in the market. We also aim to provide growth and development opportunities to our freelancers as they build their careers and prepare for the future”.

Mr. Youssefi challenged the teams to leverage the skills and know-how they have acquired during the programme, while striving to live by the Tigo values of “integrity, respect and passion''.

The Go-to-Market Manager of Tigo Ghana, Nicolas De Gasperi encouraged the teams to be dedicated to their work because they form an important part of the wheels that drive the company's quest to maintain its leading role in the telecommunications market.

Tigo Sales School is a novelty in the Ghana's telecom industry, coming from the premier telecommunication services provider, and it is opening up opportunities for an increasing number of unemployed youth across Ghana.

Deserving graduates took home some prizes.
Meanwhile one of the graduates, Bennedicta Agbaglo has expressed her profound gratitude to Tigo for the opportunity that provides her with a ready job, unlike a few weeks ago when she was jobless.
