Cape Coast, Sept. 16, GNA - A Lecturer at the Education Foundation Department of the University of Cape Coast, Mrs. Priscilla Commey-Mintah on, on Saturday advised the Youth to be resolute in order not to fall prey to negative peer pressure.

They should also not stay on the internet for long hours for less productive activities such as watching pornography but rather concentrate on their books and study the Bible.

Mrs. Commey-Mintah was speaking on the theme, “Challenges of the youth in the 21st Century”, at a youth forum organized by the Anglican Diocese of Cape Coast as part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations at the Christ Church Cathedral.

She pointed out that life was full of challenges but one should put God first in order to overcome the challenges, stating that they should keep persevering even if they fail in their attempts to make it in life.

Right Reverend Daniel Allotey, Bishop of the Cape Coast Diocese of the Anglican Church, charged adults to live exemplary lives to serve as good role models for the Youth.

He also called on parents to train up the children in the fear of the Lord.

Rev. Canon Kofi deGraft-Johnson, Academic Dean of St. Nicholas Seminary, also advised the youth to be kind to one another, be mindful of what they say and speak good things that reflect the life of Christ.
