Thieves rob Senya District NCWD Coordinator

Winneba (C/R), Sept 28, GNA - Thieves on Thursday broke into the house of Madam Mercy Appiah-Amissah, Awutu-Effutu-Senya District Coordinator of the National Council on Women and Development (NCWD) and made away with property worth 30 million cedis.

Items stolen included 16 half pieces of kente cloth, jewels and about 30 pieces of wax prints.

According to Madam Appiah-Amissah, the incident occurred between 0930 and 1100 in the morning after she had left home for work. It was detected by one of her children who returned to the house to discuss an issue with her during the day.

Meanwhile the Winneba Police are looking for one Forster Panyin Boakye, also known as Kwame Boakye, a native of Kyebi in the Eastern region, who was living with Madam Appiah-Amissah. Boakye was seen in Madam Appiah-Amissah's area after she had gone to work in the morning.
