By Paul Yankey

National Democratic Congress(NDC) zonal organizer of Asasetre in the Ellembelle constituency, Mr. Daniel Adeah-Kaku says he could no longer contain the threats, insults and intimidation NPP activists in the area continue to hurl on him.

He said such inhumane acts trample on his constitutional rights as a citizen of the land to share his views on some pertinent issues of national importance.

Mr. Adeah-Kaku, popularly known in the political arena as "Filler",expressed the bizarre sentiments to the Ghana News Agency at Nkroful in the Ellembelle district of the Western Region.

He recalled an incident somewhere in 2011 when he was attacked immediately after an NDC caucus meeting at Bomoakpole.

According to him,the NDC and NPP were simultaneously holding a meeting but not closer to the venues. To his utter dismay, the NPP later came to the NDC's venue and one Richard Essien inflicted a blow on him.

The second incident which he described as most barbaric, was on July 22, 2012 when he was attacked during an NPP keep fit exercise at Bomoakpole.

According to him, he was fetching water from the bore-hole when the NPP zonal executives in the presence of the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the 2012 elections, Mr. Kwasi Bonzo pointed accusing fingers at him, muttering the words,"this is the Filler".

Mr. Adeah-Kaku said in a twinkle of an eye,the supporters besieged him around the bore-hole,touching and shaking his body.

When he tried to disengage himself from the mob, they maliciously remarked,"yeah, this is their Filler".

The NPP supporters told him him that "when we come to power in December 2012,we will arrest you and stop you from pursuing your education"

The NDC organizer added that whenever he gets on board a vehicle,NPP adherents threaten that when they come to power, they will arrest him ostensibly for being an NDC activist.

"Filler,",as he is popularly known throughout the constituency, is an active serial caller on Ankobra FM, a local-based radio station near Axim where he mostly comments on the success of PresidentJohn Evans Atta Mills Better Ghana Agenda and the good works and sterling leadership the sitting Member of Parliament, Mr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has brought to the people of Ellembelle.
