Ho, Sept. 1, GNA - The exhibition of the biometric voters' register started in the Ho Municipality on Saturday morning with low attendance.

Polling stations that the Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited were virtually empty with exhibition officers having 'uninterrupted' rest, and it was observed that political party agents were absent at the stations.

At the Ho-SSNIT Flats polling station, only 15 people came to verify their data by mid-day.

Ms Sabina Essandoh, exhibition officer at the station, said personnel there were virtually on holiday, but he hoped that the pace of the exercise would pick up in the coming days.

The 10- day exercise was to afford prospective voters, who registered in the last registration exercise, the opportunity to cross-check their data, make corrections and also ensure that their names are on the voter roll.
