We strongly write to bring to the notice of the The Commissioner, Ghana Revenue Authority and the Government on anomalies taking place at Aflao border after to the demolition exercise carried out on the 7th july, 2010 to security zone for CEPS. The said exercise has rendered the custom house agents(clearing agent) with no office for their business for the past two years.

The custom house agents who assist CEPS in collection and mobilization of government revenue are left at the mercy of the road, standing under trees and uncompleted structures. It is for this reason that government has taken reliable and decisive steps to relocate some of the clearing agents by granting them pieces of land for the erection of their offices. Unfortunately, from our investigation gathered so far, it has now emerged that the distribution of the land is solely based on one's political affiliation. The brain behind this unlawful political bias is kennedy Mensah, the sector sergeant major. However , those affected by the exercise have been denied the access to get a land for erection of their office, just because they are N.P.P members. These victimization and favouritism must stop. Whilst custom house agent who assist CEPS in the collection of government revenues are left at the mercy of the road.

Melcom company has been granted S.T.C complex yard to relocate their outfit and business activities. However from our underground investigation, it was alleged that one Kennedy Mensah(sector sergeant major) dubiously and corruptibly collected a huge sum of money from Melcom Ghana Limited, Aflao branch before granting them the complex building. Frankly, the complex building belong to the Ghana government which CEPS is a care taker.
