Prestea(W/R), Aug 17, GNA - A 24-year old illegal small scale miner, Matthias Yaw Obah, was trapped to death by a falling coconut tree while prospecting for gold at Obourho near Prestea.
The corpse had been deposited at the Prestea Government Hospital awaiting autopsy.
The Sekondi Police told the GNA on Friday that the deceased was digging for gold close to the coconut tree and in the process; the tree fell on him and was taken to hospital but died on arrival.
