GNAAS express sorrow at the departure of the late President
Accra, Aug 10, GNA - The Ghana National Association of Adventist Students (GNAAS) has expressed its sorrow at the death and burial of President John Evans Atta Mills.
A statement signed by Mr Alex Osei-Kojo said the sad event was a total shock to all because “we have lost both a father and a mentor to the youth and students in the country”.
The statement expressed its condolence to his widow, Dr Ernestina Naadu Mills, the family and the entire country.
It said as Christians, we believe it is God who gives and takes and the departure of the President is a reinforcement in the belief of our pilgrimage on earth and that “even though he is gone, he is not forgotten”.
