Vice Presidential nominee, Kwesi Ammisah-Arthur has met workers of the Bank of Ghana to bid them farewell.
At a staff durbar yesterday, the former governor asked workers to remain committed and professional in their work.
He charged them to give his successor the same support he enjoyed as governor.
In what some staff members described as an emotional farewell, Mr. Amissah-Arthur expressed gratitude for all the support he enjoyed during his tenure.
Workers on their part were delighted Mr. Amissah-Arthur had showed strong leadership that helped to minimize industrial unrest at the central bank.
Amissah-Arthur is expected to vetted by the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament on Monday prior to his approval as Vice President.
