Born and Bred in the Land of the Green, Yellow and Red. Where the foreigners challenged our veteran fathers and bled.

Taught and Read where the scholars of philosophy, law and medicine tread.
He was a humble Ghanaian.
A Professor they said.

His ambitions and life's decisions surpassed the division of cultures in nations, he had as much faith in his people as most in religions relations, but like a father to all. He was renowned for his patience.

Even as our vice-president he worked to eliminate every vice resident and his title "Asumgwe Hene" will always suffice as evidence that now that he has left us he will be where heaven is.

His efforts grew and so he succeeded.
He rose to the throne where he felt he was most needed. Through no force and no wrong cause President John Evans Atta Mills set his goals on course.

Off Course, not without resistance.
But he persevered through focus and persistence on his goal for a Better Ghana. He was relentless

A true son of the black star.
A warrior of deeds he'd survived with enough scars for his foresight which shon bright enough to surpass stars.

He had a dream but not all Ghanaians believed. But when we heard, all Ghanaians were bereaved.
