Young Patriots–USA Mourns President Mills

Indeed, 24 July, 2012 was a darker day in the life of our nation. The demise of President Mills, one of Ghana's illustrious sons has left us speechless.

Young Patriots – USA, therefore, would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late President Mills in particular, and the good people of Ghana in general. May God guide us, as we tread this path of sorrow, and imbued in us the strength and tenacity to withstand these trying moments.

As the nation mourns our late President, and looks forward to putting him to interment, Young Patriots – USA, in the spirit of unity, togetherness, and nationalism, has temporary suspended all its plans and arrangements to its impending demonstration at the premises of Ghana Embassy, Washington D.C.

It is our prayer, that, these difficult times build bridges rather than walls within our society, to ensure halcyon Ghana.

May the soul of President Mills rest in perfect peace!
