The Nasara Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wishes all Muslims around the Country a blessed and fruitful month of fasting (Ramadan).
The month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar, is unquestionably a great and memorable month among Muslims all around the globe. It is indeed, the month within which all Muslims are entreated to be much more obedient to Almighty Allah and also to be law abiding in every sphere of life and human endeavour.
The Nasara Wing of the NPP, being the accredited Muslim Wing of the party, wants to deeply associate itself with the blessings in this holy month in order to herald the peace and tranquility that has always characterized the nature of the good people of this country.
It is stated in the Holy Qur'an (Chapter 2, Verse 185) that, “The month of Ramadan (is that month) in which Qur'an was revealed, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights (the new moon of) the month, let him fast it; …. Allah intends for you ease, and does not intend for you hardship and (wants) for you to complete the period and glorify Allah….”
The Nasara wing of the NPP wishes all Muslim brothers and sisters a divine acceptable fasting in all other religious rites in this holy month of Ramadan. Nasara also craves the indulgence of all Muslims in Ghana and all around the World to preach peace and tranquility wherever they find themselves, particularly before, during and after the 2012 general elections.
It is also the divine wish of Nasara that come December 2012, the Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are voted as the President and Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. Insha Allah.
We wish all Muslims Ramadan Mubarak.
Signed:
Abubakar Suleiman 'Lakulaku'
National Coordinator.
