LET’S USE RAMADAN TO PRAY FOR PEACE ELECTIONS-AKILU SAYIBU

The New Patriotic Party parliamentary Candidate for Tamale-North Mr. Akilu Sayibu has called on Muslims in Tamale in particular and Ghana as a whole to use this year's Ramadan fast to pray for peace in their various communities and also for the elections in December.

In a statement issued to the media in Tamale today, Mr. Akilu Sayibu stated that, the Ramadan fast was a period to show love and obedience to God and to involve in profound prayers and worship and thought it was an excellent moment to pray for peaceful elections in December for Ghana.

The statement particularly called on the electorates in Tamale-North to vote for change and development come December 7, to help move the Tamale North constituency out of its current stagnation and deprivation to prosperity and accelerated development.

The statement concluded by wishing all Muslims a happy and prosperous Ramadan Mubarak.
