Accra, July 12, GNA – The Church of Rabbi at Ofankor near Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region has held an all-night session and prayed for peace and stability for Ghana.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah, the General Overseer of the Church, said there was the need for the hand of God to prevail over the nation because there was economic hardship and rampart lorry accidents that claim lives.
He said the depreciation of the cedi against the dollar had created difficulties for the government and the people and appealed to religious leaders to intervene with prayers.
“Ghana needs God's intervention to change this bad situation without that all efforts being made by the leaders of the nation will be in vain,” Prophet Tawiah said.
He said for politicians to achieve their ambitions they should first allow peace to be paramount in their activities and appealed to them to stop the usage of intemperate language.
