National service personnel Association in Kintampo south district have ended their 4th general congress in the, Jema the district. This meeting took place in the district library and has seen a successful deliberation of which the house was able to come up with elaborate program outlined for the NSS week celebration which is expected to take effect in the last week of July which is also the last month of the service year. In attendance was Kintampo south District coordinator of NSS Mr. Killien Nsor who addressed the house on the latest information concerning the week celebration which transpired at district coordinators meeting at Sunyani last week. Notable among the program agreed to carry on during the NSS week celebration is Blood donation to stock Kintampo Municipal hospital Blood bank, clean up exercise in the district capital and its environs, education outreach to schools in the district. Others are football games between Techiman municipal, Kintampo north and south and Nkoranza north districts and visit to Brong Ahafo NSS farms in Branam in Wenchi municipality. The personnel have agreed to contribute twenty Ghana (20.00) towards the support of the week celebration. At the end of the meeting the, the district NASPA president Mr. Francis Gankui who also doubles to be the Brong Ahafo regional PRO of the association commended the house for their dedication to work since time of posting, the patience they had exhibited in waiting for their arrears of service allowance and the peaceful cooperation his leadership has received from the entire service personnel in the district. He also urges the personnel to be careful and circumspect with their talk at their various community of posting since we are in election season. He promise his colleagues service persons on behalf of his executives to work tirelessly to see the proposed programme for the week celebration achieving its main purpose and again not to be worried as to how their contribution is going to be put during the week celebration since he will make sure vivid accountability is given after the week celebration, he added.
