
Accra, June 28, GNA - The Black Satellites will fine-tune their preparation towards their African Youth Championship qualifiers with a friendly match against Benin's U-20 team at the Tema Stadium on Saturday, June 5.
The international friendly, the Satellites' first forms part of the former World Champions' preparation for the qualifiers of the bi-annual competition which begins next month.
Ghana is scheduled to play Uganda in their quest to qualify for the African Youth Championship slated for Algeria early next year.
Uganda will host Ghana in the first leg of the qualifiers with the return game slated for Accra two weeks later.
The winner of the Ghana-Uganda tie will face either Morocco or Gambia at the final round of the qualifiers.
Ghana will be seeking to book qualification to the competition they last won in 2009 after failing to qualify for the last World Cup in 2011.
