Accra, Aug. 31, GNA - An interdenominational service was on Sunday held at the State House to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the life of Dr Kofi Abrefa Busia, former Prime Minister of Ghana.

The service, which was interspersed with reading of tributes, choral music by the Winneba Youth Choir and "Fontomfrom" drumming by the IndigenAfrica was to climax a week long activities planned to mark the late Prime Minister's life.

Preaching the sermon, The Very Reverend Emmanuel K. Asante, President of the Trinity Theological College, described the late Dr Busia as a man whose legacy inspired justice because he always sought and honoured God in all his ways.

He said the greatest quality expected of Kings and Presidents according to the Bible was wisdom without which one could not dispense judgment.

Very Rev. Asante said "wisdom inspires truth...is more precious than the precious things we cherish...and the neglect of God is the absence of wisdom".
