Accra, June 12, GNA - Mr Anthony Rouhana, Deputy General Manager of Ashfoam, producers of mattresses and other items on Tuesday donated aluminum roofing sheets and materials valued at GH¢ 13,000.00 to facilitate the expansion of Madina Divisional Police Headquarters.
Mr Anthony Rouhana who handed over the items to the police authorities said it was part of the social responsibility of the company to support the service to get a good office accommodation.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Paul Ayitey, out-going Madina Divisional Commander thanked the Management of Ashfoam for the kind gesture and prayed other corporate bodies to emulate the example.
He commended Mr Christopher Aryeetey, Chief Executive Officer of Redrow Estate who also supplied 2,000 cement blocks, two trips of sand, 50 bags of cement and a cash of ¢ 3,000 for the completion of the project.
ACP Ayitey expressed gratitude to Michellette Company, Trasasco Company Limited, Madina Drivers Transport Unions and K. Ofori Enterprise and other benevolent individuals for their various support towards the project.
