Accra, June 1, GNA - Strategic Communications Africa Limited (Stratcomm Africa), a communications company, has initiated a communications strategy to assist Small and Medium scale Enterprises (SMEs) achieve business profitability.

The communications company, through its reputation clinics is offering consultation and advisory services, for two hours free of charge, on the second day of a Business Sense 2012 Expo which is being run from March 31st to June 2nd, 2012 to interested SMEs on how best they could appreciate the value of communication and its impact on business growth and success.

A release copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday said the Business Sense 2012 Expo, which is an international business conference and exhibition for business owners, entrepreneurs and managers and decision makers in SMEs to learn about products and services that can help businesses to grow.

“The Expo, being organized with support from the International Labour Organization, (ILO) has offered Ghana's SMEs opportunities to network with other participants and industry professionals and obtain at workshops & seminars critical information and perspectives intended to impact their business positively,” it said.

The release said for almost two decades, Stratcomm Africa had worked with a variety of companies to enhance their bottom line through the application of high quality and innovative marketing communications and reputation management approaches.

It quoted Miss Esther A. N. Cobbah, Chief Executive of Stratcomm Africa, as saying 'this is a good time for SMEs to seize opportunities being offered by Ghana's growing economy and to show their distinguishing characteristics - communication is the key to unlocking this'.

“Our desire as a nation to promote and utilize local content will be meaningless if we are unable to project the quality and value to be derived from such local content," she added.

The release said Miss Cobbah encouraged SMEs to take the bold initiative of seeking and employing professional communications approaches to help them raise their bottom line.
