COSTUMERS ORDEAL AT GHANA COMMERCIAL BANK WA BRANCH

01.06.2012 LISTEN
By S.A.SALAM

Costumers at Ghana commercial bank in the Wa municipality has been experiencing great ordeal in the banking hall before they are able to access their hard earn monies from the bank. This has been going on for some time now in the bank. The major problem costumers experience in the bank is overcrowding in the banking hall, coupled with insufficient fans and air conditioners in the newly renovated banking hall, making matters worse off.

Also, the lighting system in the newly renovated banking hall is not stable with some bulbs not functioning at all. A cashier of middle age was complaining about the lighting system when he found it difficult to read and sign my check before I withdraw my money.

Frequent movement of cashiers in and out of their cages is another worry to costumers. Sometimes some cashiers in the cages will be serving behind the cages in steed of serving those in the queue which I found disheartening.

Costumers having written numerous complaints and dropping it in the white painted suggestion box proof futile because inside the box is dark and their grievances cannot be address in the darkness.

With all these litany of problems costumers of the bank faces, the management of the bank seems to be adamant of costumers' plight. That is, they are doing nothing to salvage the situation. Costumers of the bank will like to see action taken by relevant authorities, since they spent their productive hours in the bank which will reduce productivity in the municipality and the country at large.
