AUTHORITIES OF the Kwadaso SDA Hospital have taken delivery of a modern x-ray machine as part of efforts to render prompt first-class service to patients.

The intricate equipment was brought into the country via collaboration between   the hospital and Friendly Mobile Medical Services (FMMS) based in the US.

The unique machine is programmed to automatically forward patient information to a medical team in the US once the x-ray shot is taken.

The US team which comprises experts in the medical field will then critically analyze the information and send their report back to Ghana in minutes.

Addressing a large gathering of people that witnessed the inauguration ceremony at the x-ray department of the hospital, Dr. Agyeman Boateng, the medical director emphasized that the era where presumption reigned in medical delivery was now a thing of the past.

Consequently, he said the Kwadaso SDA Hospital was making efforts to establish a modern diagnostic center soon.

Dr. Boateng stressed on the need for the general public to periodically visit the hospital for check-ups, adding that this was the best way for anyone to know the exact state of their health status.

In his succinct remarks, Head of FMMS, Daniel Brefo, a renowned nuclear medicine technologist said thousands of dollars was used to set up the x-ray machine at the hospital.

Highlighting some of the machine's features, he said it could scan every part of the human body adding the presence of the machine at the hospital would impact positively on health delivery.
