Sekondi (WR), May 28, GNA-A 52-year old articulated truck driver, Osumanu Ibrahim, is in the grips of Tarkwa Police for allegedly killing a man.
According to the Regional Crime Officer, Mr. J.K Abraham, the articulated truck was heading from Tarkwa towards Takoradi loaded with timber logs.
He said upon reaching a section of the road, near the former Metro Mass Transit station in Tarkwa, Jacob Adamabya,40, suddenly alighted from his Nissan pick-up along the road.
The articulated truck knocked him and trapped him beneath the vehicle killing him instantly.
The corpse had been deposited at the Government Hospital pending autopsy while the driver is assisting the Police in their investigations.
