CiTylinK takes delivery of new aircraft

CiTylinK, one of the domestic airlines in Ghana, has taken delivery of a Fokker 100 regional jet aircraft.

The medium-sized jet aircraft with 109 seat capacity would help CiTylinK consolidate its influence in the domestic airline market.

“We want to use this occasion to announce to our cherished clients both corporate and individuals, as well as the general public that very soon, CiTylinK will commence directs flight services to Lagos, Abidjan, Ouagadougou, Monrovia and other regional routes as we take delivery of a second Fokker 100 very soon,” the Sales and Marketing Manager of CiTylinK, Mr Ken Agyemang Danquah, said.

He also pointed out that the aircraft would be used for its Kumasi and Takoradi operations in response to the growth on those routes, explaining that “this means for now we will fly twice daily to both Kumasi and Takoradi in the morning and afternoon to offer comfort and convenience to our clients,” he said.

CiTylinK, which brought commercial domestic flights alive in the country, has undergone numerous international quality and safety audits to establish the highest safety standards in all its operations.

The Fokker 100 jet aircraft offers flexibility from an all-economy 5-abreast 109 seater at 32 inch pitch.

The passenger cabin is spacious, offering over two metres standing height in the aisle.
