Four children are confirmed dead at Sawla in the Northern region after a mud house, in which they live, collapsed on them.
The four, who are between the ages of 4 and 12 years, died on the spot while their mother and 18 year-old sister sustained injuries.
The National Youth Employment coordinator in the area, Stephen Kpeafaa, who rushed the victims to the hospital, told Joy News residents were wondering what might have caused the collapse of the house because it hadn't rained.
“The place is actually dry...” he said.
