
The families of two fans of European Champions, Chelsea who died in the aftermath of their team's triumph at the weekend are suspecting foul play.
58-year old Eric Kwade and Nii Ako were found dead in one of the victim's home at Oyarifa in the Ga East Municipal of Greater Accra on Sunday after celebrating their side's victory over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final Saturday.
Two others who joined the victory party are said to be in critical condition at the Ridge Hospital while a fifth victim has been discharged.
Mabel Kwade, a sister of one of the deceased tells Joy News his brother was found sitting lifeless in a couch with arms folded.
She said the wife of the other deceased found the two dead in a room with blood in the husband's mouth.
The victims are said to have ate and drank that fateful day and, “we don't know whether [they died] from the drink or from the food”.
“We are suspecting a foul play because we don't see how they can jubilate to the extent of losing their lives. Also not one person but..."
She said one person who has a spare key to the brother's room has been picked up by the police, while investigations continue.
