Why you remain helpless...?

Is the popular phrase 'grass is always greener on the other side of mountain' true? One may need to verify the fact and only then the truth about how greener the grass is on the other side of the mountain will be known.

The point is not about the truth or its verification but what management message the corporate should derive or infer from the above is more important.

One has to always assume that the grass is greener on the other side to become successful. This is the basic tenet the nature has been following during the entire process of evolution of various species of flora and fauna.

Look at the life of all migratory animals. The migratory animals are different from resident animals as the former migrate to the newer habitats when they face adverse situation in their native habitat. Once the favorable condition returns, they come back to the native habitat.

If the migrants believe that grass always look greener from other side and it is not true, they would not migrate to other habitats. If they refuse to migrate, they would naturally die as the habitat in which they live is not congenial for the survival. One need to believe the possibility without being judgmental is very important. Once the possibility is questioned and doubted, verification or taking a chance to explore suffers the worst.

For example, cranes from Siberia move to other parts of the world during freezing winter. During freezing cold, the cranes find hard to live in Siberia. Instead of thinking that elsewhere also would be like Siberia, they migrate out of Siberia with a hope of finding a better place. They believe that grass is greener on the other side of mountain.

The question is not whether grass is greener on the other side or grass look greener from other side, but they believe in the first possibility. Their belief never disappointed them.

The corporate employees must understand that the grass on the other side not only look greener but indeed is greener. Many employees in most corporate seldom question the status quo and remain helpless. They never take risk of exploring an opportunity elsewhere as they believe that grass always look greener on the other side and it is not true. When they rest their capability on disbelief and doubts, they never get the courage to question the status quo or explore the world outside.

A deep introspection is inevitable on the part of many corporate employees to understand their belief system and what extent it can damage or tamper their future.

It is not the questioning or doubting the possibility, but believing the possibility only makes life worthier for the plenty of opportunities available around us. Opportunity should coincide with your belief system only then you can succeed.

Believe that grass looks not only greener on the other side but indeed is greener. Hesitate not to migrate to the newer habitats; the heaven and sky are beckoning to zenith.
